Jude Simpson – Poet, wordsmith, performer
If you’re free, do come over to Toft (South Cambridgeshire) on Friday 25th November, where I’m doing a full-length gig, featuring a load of new material as well as some old favourites. That new song about your Nan wanting a funeral as elaborate as the Queen’s – that’s in there – and so is my NEW CHRISTMAS POEM, “Holy and Lowly,” which features an ignominious use for a doily, as well as other more illustrious themes.
This is a fundraiser for Homestart, so no ticket price or bookings – just turn up on the night (doors open 7.30pm for an 8pm start) and leave a donation if you wish – which will be split between Homestart and myself. It’s going to be a great evening. The venue is Toft Social Club, in the People’s Hall, School Lane, Toft, CB23 2RE.
Do drop me a line if you are planning to come, it would be great to say hello. xx
